DAY 1: Singapore - Hanoi

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport and fly to Hanoi, is the capital of Vietnam and the country’s second largest city. Upon arrival, meet & greet by local representative. Proceed to visit Quan Thanh Temple, is a Taoist temple in Hanoi, dating back more than 1,000 years of history. Continue to visit Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi. Hoa Lo Prison Museum, this thought-provoking site is all that remains of the former Hoa Lo Prison, ironically nicknamed the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ by US POWs during the American War. Proceed for dinner and then transfer to hotel for night accommodation. Lunch will be served if arrive in morning.

DAY 2: Hanoi - Sapa - Ta Phin - Cat Cat Village

Breakfast at hotel then taking coach to Sapa and proceeding to Ta Phin Village – Set within the valley with a towering mountain peak on the other end, this village is bustling with the daily life of the Kinh, Red Dzao and Black Hmong. After lunch, check into your hotel and have a short rest time before heading off to Cat Cat hill tribe village, trekking up and down hill through the forest and along the terraced rice fields. As we walk through the village nestled in the valley we will meet some of the local minority to and from Sapa, meantime enjoying the beautiful landscape contrast. Thereafter journey up terraced hillsides to Sapa, a former French hill resort and home to some Vietnam’s most vibrant and ethnic groups. Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 3: Sapa - Ta Van - Lao Cai - Hanoi

Breakfast at hotel then embark on a lovely walking tour that will take you along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Cai Province, especially Ta Van home to the Black H’mong and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery surrounding you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields. After lunch coach back Hanoi.

DAY 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Heading for an 4hrs drive to Halong Bay - “Natural Heritage of the world” listed under UNESCO. Most of the islands on the Halong Bay are limestone and were formed over 500milion years ago. This schist island scattered in the southeast have an average height of between 50 - 200m and have a rich covering of flora. Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay and admiring the fascinating rock formations in the Bay. Cruise to Vung Vieng Floating Fishing Village. Visit the village by a traditionally woven boat rowed by a local boatman for a period of one hour. You will pass through floating houses of 40 families, floating information centre and pearl farm with shops. Back to the vessel for leisure time whereby you can do optional activities such as kayak, swimming, sunbathing or traditional massage etc. In the evening time, enjoy cooking demonstration on the sun deck. Dinner is served with a variety of Vietnamese and fusion cuisine. Evening activities include: Movie entertainment in the dining room at about 21:00. Board and card games are accessible or join the squid fishing on board with our crew. We will then cruise to our overnight anchorage. Overnight in Junk cruise.

DAY 5: Halong - Hanoi

Morning enjoys Tai Chi instructions on the sun deck, and Coffee, tea and pastries will be served in the dining room. Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Climb 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour around for approximately 45 mins. Upon return to the cruise, take time to freshen up and check out of the cabins. Please leave your luggage outside of your cabins. Enjoy brunch or set menu served in the dining room. Disembarkation & back to Hanoi. Upon arrival to visit Restored Sword Lake in the centre of modern Hanoi, then walk through Hanoi old quarter for shopping. Tour continues to enjoy a leisurely one-hour tri shaw tour through the streets of this fascinating city. You will come face to face with the daily lives and activities of Hanoi’s streets as you pass through the congested, but delightful, Old Quarter. Ride pass the fascinating streets, which still bear the names of the shops that could be found in them in the 15th to 18th centuries. Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight in Hanoi Capital.

DAY 6: Hanoi - Singapore
